I've hunted around and added some more onto the list. Honestly I'm, uh...I'm not too sure how I missed a few of these, but...they're added on now. This whole...project...thing is going to take a while.

I really don't have that much to say besides that, I guess. I'll...uh, update again when I update the list again, or...if something happens.

Wow, I..I uh, didn't think this would get that much attention from everyone. I'm really not sure if I should be happy or sad or what...haha...

Um. As was said in the comments, though...the list is tiny. I'll be expanding it with everyone...once I get the chance to. But, uh...for now it's just that. I'll try to put in more as I go along...but if you guys can help point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated.

Wow! Okay, uhh. People! People are reading this! This is kind of unfortunate...but it's why I made this blog. I guess. Ha...stage fright, and this post hasn't even gone up yet.

Okay, that was a bad first impression. Oh...well. What was I supposed to do now? Right. Introductions. Heh...um...

My name's Alexander Gold. I go by Xander, though, because frankly? I feel like there's too many Alex...s in the world. Not enough Xander...s (I'm not sure what the plural of an Alex or Xander would be...hm. I don't think there's such a thing though...Oops. Getting off topic.)

Like I was saying, I'm Alexander Gold, but I go by Xander. I'm 19 years old, and I live in an apartment in Brooklyn. I'm...actually not sure what I want to major in just yet. It's my second year and I'm still undeclared. (I always thought I'd be a mail courier. I...don't know why. It didn't happen, though.) Ha...if I don't think of anything by the end of this year I'm probably going to be in college a couple years longer then most people. Um...my favorite color is dark red, and....ehh, I think I've covered the important details.

Now to the fun stuff!

I know if I was reading this...I'd go "what are you going on about, son?" right about now. So...here's why I made this thing.

I don't know how many of you are aware of this, but there's this thing called the 'Slenderman'. He's this tall faceless guy with tentacles for arms and wears a suit. ...I'm sure there's more to him then what I'm explaining...but I haven't personally seen him.

Yeah...he's real. I know I probably sound like a babbling lunatic...but he's real. He has to be.

I've been following this thing ever since pictures of it popped up on SomethingAwful. It's been two and a half years.

Hundreds of people have fallen victim to him since then. Hundreds more are currently fighting for their life right now because of him.

I can...honestly say I'm glad I've never had an encounter. But just because I haven't seen him doesn't mean I think he's not real. There's too many people out there thinking like that right now. People who just...shrug off the thing as some 'horror story' usually has it bite them back in the ass.

Which...is...what confuses me a bit.

Like I said before, I've known about this thing for the past two and a half years. Yet nothing's happened to me. Nothing. People who are just discovering this thing have encounters days later. It makes me wonder...why haven't I run into it yet?

I'm not saying I want to, but if it does happen...I won't be surprised. I don't know what I'd do, but I wouldn't be surprised. I'm...more surprised right now that this thing hasn't decided to target me yet.

Okay...I think that's enough backstory for now.

This goes out to all of the people who are running right now. I've seen it. I've seen the posts. I was there when  updates about your situations went up, and you thought no one was there. I've been watching. I've just been afraid to drag myself into this to help.

I'm....uh, I'm not going to let that fear stop me anymore. You guys...You all have someone trying to help from the outside too now. I'll try to help however I can.
